BTS Fortnite

The South Korean mega-stars BTS are set to premiere their new single ‘Dynamite’ Music Video Choreography Version in Fortnite’s Party Royale mode.

Fortnite has become a hub for brands and artists to showcase their latest products and music, with the likes of Star Wars, AMD, and now BTS using the platform. BTS is, without a doubt, the biggest act to come from South Korea, helping to grow the K-pop movement. The genre’s influence has been seen in Fortnite since Battle Royale’s inception, with many emotes being influenced by K-Pop, such as True Heart.

The new single ‘Dynamite’ will be premiered on Friday, September 25, at 8 PM EDT, with a repeat viewing happening on Saturday, September 26, at 8 PM EDT.

In addition to the new single, there will be two new emotes coming to the store on Thursday, September 23, both choreographed by BTS. This event wouldn’t be the first time a K-pop act choreographed their own emote, with the K-pop star iKON designing his skin, Ikonik, and choreographing the Scenario emote.

Starting Tuesday, September 22, at 10 AM EDT, players can jump into Fortnite Creative to re-create the world of the original “Dynamite” music video — created by community members YU7A, TreyJTH, and SundayCW. There will also be challenges and minigames to take part in too.
